As Lead Consultant to a German ESCO, Winfried Haas led the Demand-Side Management (DSM) workstream of an emirate-wide energy strategy initiative for ADWEA (today part of the Department of Energy).
The engagement established a strategic baseline for improving energy performance across Abu Dhabi’s building portfolio, including the assessment of more than 30,000 buildings, identification of efficiency potential and prioritisation of buildings for further investigation.
